Ah!!! WHAT A POLITICAL DRAMA
Its the Indian premier's seat....made to feel as if its up on sale....up for grabs.....
Well Rahul Gandhi claims that after elsection results when he asked his mom dat does she wanna
be the PM.....she had den declined to him that she aint intersted in the seat.....

but voila....she got all the letters of support in her name.....
she was all set to be the PM of INDIA.....

well dat too when....in Italy, Italians themselves won't select
foreign born as their premier.....
well y shud we also select a foreign born as our PM.....
this may look like hard line from my side towards this issue of foreign born funda....
but then......when congress has better people than Sonia Gandhi for that post
then why should she become the PM......
If congress cannot select anyone else....let it go for another election......

it is a matter of pride for all of us to have an Indian born as our PM.....
Well Sonia gandhi is one who can be easily used by congress allies for their self purpose...

well now when Sonia stepped down......every1 knew.....dat we r gonna get a able leader
and Sonia stepping down was celebrated in stock exchange with a sharp rise........

now when Manmohan Singh is going to be the PM......there is confusion for who will be
the Finance Minister.....

just take a look....at what all allies of Congress want.....
they want more and more for minorities.....
they want more n more subsidies....
everyone wants more and more for themselves in name of their state

well the stand taken by few BJP leaders regarding Sonia being PM
that is boycotting of the swearin in ceremony if she becomes PM......was a gud step.....
They showed wat they felt regardin her foreign born issue.....
though no1 will have prob with her children holding ne post.

well...now we have a leader who has adequate experience in this field and will do his job well...
BUT again here there will be some control exercised by Left parties...wich can be a
hindrance to our growth..........
Now hope for the best

THE GREAT CONGRESS NEEDS CRASH COURSE ON WTO
Well.....wat is happenin in Andhra....
r we goin back on reforms path to wich we set
on by the NDA.....it seems so....

NDA was tryin its level best to make INDIA....WTO compatible.....
one of the components in WTO says that no agricultural subsidy.....
wich includes no free electricity....
dis is wat has happened in Andhra Pradesh....
dis will obviosly spread to other states....since all need to treated at par...
all will demand free electricity...government cannot say NO.....(will lose
elections next time)....so where does dis lead us....

well it leads our agricultural exports to go thru a tax in international market
to compensate for this subsidy and thus the low price of the agricultural
produce....
This does nothin but increases the rate of our products higher that those
from China, Brazil and similar countries....
this means reduction in exports.........
thus we r gonna face big problems....
if congress keeps such ways....
stock market crash is indicative of things to come......

just imaginin the people like Laloo, Mulayam and Leftists holding posts
what will happen......
congress manifestoes says.....reservation in private sector to be debated......
with leftists gettin a huge share......private sector will also den be
incorporated into the quota system.....and people will just hope why did we
vote for the wrong party.....

i am just hopin.....Manmohan Singh comes out with some kind of policy wich is close to what NDA was followin and follows NDA's path
of disinvestment/divestment/privatisation....
Manmohan is the only hope....
also now Italian pizzas will be sellin in every mohalla.....
bofors guns will be back into reckonin.....
hopin some Italian models also enter our country;-)
chalo,
dats all for now......

DEEP PURPLE - THE STORY

The Montreux Jazz Festival, Royal Albert Hall, Melbourne Entertainment Centre, a Blizzard somewhere in the Alps, Tokyo, Rio, Moscow's Olympic Hall, Cape Town, Bangalore, La Paz, Toronto and Kansas City.

What do they have in common? They are just a few of the places where you could have seen a Deep Purple show over the last couple of years. Simply reading the itineraries gives you an idea of how this band operates on a truly international level.

Deep Purple is not a conformist group. There never was, nor ever will be, any fawning to trends. What you do get from them are cutting edge performances based on a sound philosophy: "the music comes first". That music comes from within the core spirit of the band, nowhere else. They won't be bagged. Why?

In the sixties and early seventies they were described (by others) as "Progressive" or "Underground", when they made a conscious decision to depart from the "Hush" era in order to record the seminal album "Deep Purple in Rock".

"Fireball", "Machine Head", "Made in Japan" and "Who Do We Think We Are" quickly followed, and they were then tagged (along with Zeppelin and Sabbath) as leaders of the "Hard Rock" explosion. At this point began the gradual disintegration of the famous MK 2 line-up, (Blackmore, Gillan, Glover, Lord, Paice) and some long overdue individual R & R.

The eighties re-union as "Perfect Strangers" shook the world (again) with a fresh look at the music but with a bold detachment that stated "this is Deep Purple". The era was to end in disharmony, however (again), with first Gillan leaving, then Blackmore and then Gillan returning; confusing? Not really.

After the divorce, and seeing this as a genuine opportunity to get back to the music, the guys invited Joe Satriani join as locum, and he spent the best part of a year on the road with the newly revitalised band before returning to his own commitments. The scene was now set for the most important line-up change since "69.

Steve Morse was the only name on the list, and the question he asked, (after a couple of out of town gigs had confirmed the chemistry) "Is there a dress code?" paved the way for a return to the humourous disdain the band have for what they used to call "poseurs".

They never set out to be "Rock Stars". Call them "Classic" and they will laugh and patiently explain that nostalgia is not a creative word. Sure they've been through the mill a few times. However each time they've emerged stronger, and now you see a band that is hard and professional; displaying texture, dynamics and a humanity that can only come from those rare artists who are masters of their craft.

Deep Purple's music has evolved organically into an expressive maturity, and the sell-out shows at the cities mentioned above are testament enough to the massive fan commitment. There's a lot of affection out there for what many say is the greatest of them all.

Over 100 million albums sold.
